Helen Youth Worker
Hiya!  I'm Helen, I'm the Youth Worker and I have been working at Hope House since July 2005 after being interviewed by a group of young people who were more scary than the staff panel!  I work mostly with young people aged 13-25, who either stay at Hope House or are a brother of sister of someone who does. I also work with young people who have experienced the traumatic death of someone close to them.  I can offer one to one support or group support, from fun stuff to advice, guidance and bereavement support.  I have a varied & busy job and it certainly keeps me on my toes but it's loads of fun too.  My e-mail is... helenandrews@hopehouse.org.uk

Lindy

Hi, I'm Lindy and I've been the social worker at Tŷ Gobaith since we opened in July 2004.  I get involved in all kinds of things to help the children and families who come to TG, but a very important part of my job is to be here for any of the brothers and sisters of a child who comes to stay.  I can spend time with siblings on their own - this can range from just getting to know each other and having fun (and then if you ever want to talk to someone hopefully it won't be too difficult), to more focussed time to provide support or to talk about anything that is worrying you or that you may be feeling unhappy about.  We also organise fun activities for groups of siblings of different ages.

If you want to contact me, you can get hold of me at TG or my email address is lindy@tygobaith.org.uk
